Issue 02: Find your Joy!
We asked our contributors: “What brings you joy?” This is what they told us…

I am most joyful reading a book in a nice coffee shop with a cup of coffee.
Leanne

I’ve always sought joy even in the everyday, I find joy to be in the small things. It can be as simple as a hot cup of coffee in the morning with almond milk, or watching the sunset at night with my husband from our balcony.
Laura
I haven’t always been great at keeping up with hobbies, and even now that I build stuff, or at least manage people who build stuff, I still need an outlet for my creativity. So I take lots of photos of buildings and my sites, even the most boring bits of concrete or scaffolding can look quite beautiful.
Lisa
Reptiles and the energy they bring into a room. Without them in there, the energy feels more barren. Also caring for something else.
Meghan
Fitness and sports make me happy. I believe it is important to keep myself physically fit as it also keeps me mentally fit. My favourite sport is basketball and I have been playing for over 13 years.
Jason
My joy is Tai chi with my sword at sunset, the ocean’s waves at my feet, the city of Hong Kong in the distance.
Christine
Um can I say pizza? But specifically paisanos cheese pizza . As it reminds that not everything should be done complicated in life and just keep it simple….and cheesy.
Sakshi
